Street crews in the United States' Northeast worked through the night into Friday to clear heavy snow and downed power lines left behind by a powerful blizzard ahead of a deadly cold spell that has already killed over a dozen people. Across the region, efforts remain under way to clear roadways before plummeting temperatures reach a forecast negative forty degrees Fahrenheit in parts of the area.
