S&P 500 Breaks Five Month High

According to Reuters, the S&P 500 hit a five-month high on July 13th.The marketplace peaked at 2,804-points in the morning trading hours, supported by gains made on the industrial and energy indexes.Oil prices spiked by 1-percent, boosting the energy index by almost one-percent, while the industrial index grew by half-a-percent on the backs of Boeing, Caterpillar, and 3M.By noon, the S&P gained almost 4-points, with seven of its top eleven indexes trading up.
