An international team of physicists have created a new atomic clock, which is capable of measuring time down to a couple quadrillionths of a second. Even though atomic clocks have been around since 1948, never before has one been so insanely accurate. The clock is powered by strontium atoms packed into a tiny cube at 1,000 times the density of previous atomic clocks.
