Animal Control Officers Will Sleep Outside In Honor Of Pet Safety

On January 12th, three animal control officers in Michigan are going to sleep outside to show pet owners what it’s like for their pet’s to stay outdoors overnight. Tricia Barnes, an officer with Saginaw County Animal Control and vice president of Project Underdog, stated, “We are trying to use life scenarios that we see on the job daily… We are hoping this makes a difference in the community; we want to educate animal owners not just write them tickets all the time.
