GAO Finds EPA Violated Federal Statue with Phone Booth Install

According to the Government Accountability Office, the EPA violated federal statutes under administrator Scott Pruitt.According to the GAO, the administrator's decision to install a $43,000 soundproof phone booth without congressional approval broke the law.The Environmental Protection Agency defended the decision to install the phone, stating that it was required to place classified calls to the White House.
