Researchers at the Perelman School of Medicine found that a diuretic medication may help treat acne for women.Their study focused on, Spironolactone, to see if the diuretic could be used as an alternative for antibiotic treatment.Branded under the names Aldactone and CaroSpir, the diuretic is approved to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and conditions that cause people to retain fluid.
