Rescue workers are struggling in perilous conditions to find bodies under rivers of ash and mud that swept down from Guatemala’s Fuego volcano on Monday. The number of fatalities from the eruption has risen to 38. Trees and buildings at the base of the volcano are completely covered in brown and gray muck. According to Reuters, the eruption on Sunday was the biggest in more than four decades. Guatemala's main international airport was forced to close.
