The British holiday staple 'Love Actually' can now be viewed with more insight, as star Emma Thompson has revealed what motivated her during a pivotal scene. According to SFGate, Thompson's character discovers her husband is cheating on her. As she sits on the bed and cries, Emma Thompson says she used her own personal pain to draw out the character's emotion. Thompson says she herself was cheated on by her now-ex-husband, Kenneth Brannagh. She said she had her heart "very badly broken by Ken" when he had a dalliance with actress Helena Bonham Carter on the set of "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein."
