Peru's Drug Smugglers Use El Chapo and Escobar Photos To Mark Cocaine

Peruvian authorities intercepted more than a ton of cocaine at the end of May.The drug packets were labeled with images of kingpins 'El Chapo' Guzman and Pablo Escobar.Such markings are common, they are reportedly meant to indicate the drugs' purity.The 1,150 kilos of cocaine worth about $45 million were captured about 50 miles north of Lima.The operation also led to the arrest of 12 people — eight Peruvians and four Colombians.
