Are you ready for robo-taxis? Uber is. According to Gizmodo, the ride service just struck a deal with Volvo to buy twenty four thousand sport utility vehicles between 2019 and 2021. Each car retails for just over 45 thousand dollars. Reports say that Uber will use the Volvos to jumpstart their driverless technology program, being the first company of it's kind to do so. But according to Gizmodo, Uber's efforts haven not come without challenges.
